Garrity's Screaming Wife.

Old Presque Isle Lighthouse in Michigan is believed to be haunted by a former lighthouse keepers wife.

Mr. Patrick Garrity was the very last lighthouse keeper at the Presque Isle site and had been appointed to the position by no other than President Lincoln.

It is suggested that the isolation of living in the lighthouse drove Garrity’s wife insane, and to prevent her madness taking over their lives, he kept her locked away.

On windy nights many reports have suggested that you can still hear Mrs Garrity screaming from within the lighthouse itself.
