The girl on the cliffs

Staithes (located in North Yorkshire) is a small fishing town with it's own bay, in a very small inlet where the surrounding cliffs tend to encroach heavily on the town itself.

It is reported that the ghost of a young girl can often be seen walking along the cliff side, and it is believed that she is the spirit of a child who fell to her instant death when the cliffs crumbled beneath her.
