The Haunting of Teddington Studios

Since Auction World TV set up at Teddington Studios (Middlesex) in October 2001 staff have experienced many strange and unexplainable happenings.

These include unexplained orbs of light in the backstage area, voices whispering when no one else is around and doors jamming and being unable to be opened for minutes. According to staff, almost every door in the studio jammed for approximately two minutes during a live broadcast on the official launch day of Auction World TV.

Light fixtures and scenery are often seen falling and crashing to the stage, making filming very hazordous.

Finally there are many unexplained cold spots where no drafts are present. Staff have complained the rooms are always cold, even though they are heated regularly.

No-one is certain as to what is causing this paranormal activity, but is is suspected that it may have something to do with the fact that the studios were hit by a Second World War bomb in 1944, when three workers were killed.

The company also sells memorabilia from old films made at the studios and many staff members feel that could have triggered the strange happenings.
