The The Brushmakers Arms in Upham is said to be haunted by a man called Mr Chicket.

It is believed that he was robbed and murdered whilst staying at the pub many centuries ago.

Mr Chicket is still seen today as a shadowy figure searching the pub for his lost money and belongings.
