Bird FLU hits the UK.
In the paper today there was an article about a parrot that died in the UK because of Bird FLU. We dont know wherelse these things are migrating... Luckily no-one has caught the disease.

It's awful but inevitable that Bird Flu has reached us here in the UK. I feel so sorry for the thousands of people who work closely with birds, and they are going to be at very high risk.

Am I right in thinking it doesn't pass from person to person though?

Well as far as I know, it can be spread, but I'm not sure about person-to-person, I will look into the situation.
I wonder what Britains reaction will be when someone catches it?
