A Few Ideas!

I thought of a few ideas:


1) Job section (apply for mods, advertisors, etc.)
2) 1024x768 Board Width (for people with bigger screens - like me!)
3) More Smileys??

Not that these have to be placed into action, but I just thought of these ideas from other forums! :)

As for the board size - I can see your point, but I kinda like it as it is - lol.

Like, who can tell the best ghost story,
Or, post the best funny ghost pic,
or spot the fake ghost pic...

I know hide a pic or Emoticon of a ghost and see if anyone can find it,

Absolutely!

It's one of those things where it takes time to build up a database of people who will actually get actively involved with the site - I'm sure we are heading in the right direction though!

I was thinking that the "Article Lists" on the main site could be in folders, like: "East Anglia", "South East", "Wales", "USA" etc.

As the list grows it'd make navigation more simple for visitors.

I was thinking something similar Juptin when I was adding the latest article at the weekend. I should be doing some more work on the site on Sunday, so perhaps I'll test a few ideas then :D

I think you should do a map in dreamwaver or something. Just click on a part of the map to see what's where! Here's how I think it should work:

1) Choose Country
[A]USA [B]UK
2) A Map Of Counties/States
3) A List Of All Haunted Places & Their Locations.

Aside from that I think that you should add a search engine to the site to help people find pages quicker. I also think a 'Virtual World' feature would be good too. Where members can login from the site itself and download some of the articles and print them. Or just do print friendlies.

www.freefind.com do brilliant search engines if you're not experienced at making them! :)

As for the Search facility etc - my O/H is a web developer, so I should be able to get something pretty good done if I decide to go ahead with it!!

I was planning to work on the Do You Believe site today too, however a lot of graphics are required for it and it'll probably be over the next few weeks.
For the past few weeks, I've been in a 'Can't Be Bothered To Work On The Website' Mood. As I get tired of people saying it's rubbish which makes me think: What is the point of redesigning it if people are going to say it's rubbish again?! :roll:

I feel a bit like that Ghost - but it's mainly cos I'm so tired and "can't be bothered" when I get in from a day at work. I'm going to try to find time soon to update the site a bit more though :)

Only a couple more days or so before the site is launched. Hope everyone will be there to see it...

There's a few different links to pages of Ghost Database too... like the Article List and the forum. I've got rid of most of the links now, because I had so many. However, I plan to make a new Paranormal Directory site which will be part of Paranormal Connection too.
