I just wanted to send my good wishes to anyone in the London area, who may have been closely effected by yesterdays awful events.
A terrible day, that we will all remember for the rest of our lives.

My experience is that the bombing have done little to terrorise Londoners.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday all seemed like normal days on the bus to and from work, full of people, no one really seemed that worried.
The only thing I saw was on the way home on Thursday 7th when one of the bus windows slammed shut really loudly and several people jumped!
But they just laughed it off. So if anything the attacks have brought us closer together as people don’t normally chat to strangers on the buses.

I’m glad that we don’t have the kind of press that the USA has.
On Fox News earlier today I watched a commentator being openly derogatory to Muslims and basically saying that the attacks in London might not have happened if we were not so lenient on Muslims/Muslim leaders in the UK!!
How dare someone use an attack by a minority, hard-line group of people within a religion that the Republicans don't like, who, have as of yet no corroborated link to the bombings as an excuse to abuse a whole section of the World’s population.
I love the way that hard liners in the States make out that to be fair, balanced, unreactionary and un-religiously biased is being somehow unpatriotic.
Sorry about the political out burst but Republican Hawks really get me going, and the lack of response from the Democrats gets me going twice as much!
