I, personally believe in the possibility of ghosts. I've seen many a picture that has baffled me and others.

But, the first time i saw an "Orb" picture (A good few years now). I couldnt help but give out a little giggle. They are a common occurance with photo's. And im sure (And hope dearly) most people realise this. They arent paranormal. They are merely bad luck. I have an interest in photography, so due to taking many pictures, i too get these (Supposedly) elusive orbs. It doesnt matter where i am. I've researched into it. And, i know it's probably been raised many a time here.

I've come to the acceptance they are generally caused by many different things. Most commonly they could be lense flares. Or particles of dust that are too close to the camera caught in the flash.

(If you've ever taken a picture in a dusty room you'd probably find a few).

I'm sorry for bringing up a subject that has probably been brought up many a time.

But these specific supposed unexplained objects annoy me greatly. Too many people appear to take it in that it's obviously some kind of paranormal occurance when it's just bad luck for the budding photographer! ;).

Well how do you explain orbs seen with the naked eye, black orbs and ribbon ones too.Of course many orbs caught on camera have no paranormal value, they are simply dust, moisture and insects, however not everything is black and white in this matter, you cannot dismiss every picture taken containing orbs to be simply dust, nor can the same be said to have a paranormal meaning either,I don't know what research you done but many of the members of this forum know the pictures to examine further and the ones not to bother with, most people have a balanced view of things on these matters.

There is no evidence at all that orbs are supernatural. Apparitions exist, but orbs are not connected to hauntings.

Some of the earliest writing refers to ghosts, but orbs only became linked to hauntings with the advent of high-speed film. I'm curious - why would ghosts manifest as usually invisible balls of light when they have historically been seen as figures?
