Over the years I've often found it interesting that a paranormal investigator will normally find a case that is relevant to their branch of the paranormal i.e. a ufologist will normally find UFOs or a ghost hunter will normally find ghosts.
I would have thought that someone investigating, say, an abduction experience would at least sometimes discover an apparition instead of little green men wandering down someone's corridor.
Do you think it's down to interpretation of the data, that these phenomena are somehow attracted to their "type" of people, an unconscious bias towards the investigator's area of interest or something else?
